Designer Spotlight-Steve Madden

A girl has got to have some good summer wedges, and this is exactly what I found in the pair below by Steve Madden.  When I think of Steve Madden, I think back to high school and wearing my favorite mid-calf, chunky heeled, black boots, which I learned became Steve Madden’s signature and a phenomenon in women’s shoes back in the early 1990s!  They were SO cool, ha!  I would throw on my CK jeans, a black turtleneck with a big black GUESS belt and then slip on my Steve Madden chunky boots ready for a nice fall day.  I loved that ensemble – one of my staple “I feel good in” school outfits.  As I grew older, I grew out of that chunky boot phase, but still always kept Steve Madden in my heart.  I have to admit, it’s been a while since I have owned some Steve Madden shoes, but the brand has definitely kept up with the times.  Originally founded in 1990, you can now find Steve Madden stores in 22 states across the U.S. and in 18 countries worldwide.  They are also readily available for purchasing online…exactly where I saw these little cuties.  They turned out to be perfect for the hot, summer, ALL-YEAR-ROUND humid climate in Malaysia.
