Wearing tights reminds me of being a little girl while living up north in the U.S. Whenever it was cold out, my sister and I would bundle up in our cute dresses and tights with pretty little shoes. As I got older, I began substituting my tights for nude pantynose/nylons for work and never really thought about tights as a clothing staple…until I started watching Gossip Girl. Seeing Blair Waldorf walk the streets of New York, hardly ever wearing pants and NEVER wearing jeans, she sparked the need to add this staple item back into my wardrobe. Noted on Nina’s list as number 10, black opaque tights hits number 8 in my 100 list. As I mentioned, I do love Nina’s suggestions, but I really want to make my 100 list my own! So, in this WORK style below, I paired my black opaque tights with a skirt and cardigan to wear to the office. You can also check out some of my other “black opaque tights looks” here and here.
NUMBER 8/100 – BLACK OPAQUE TIGHTS

Hi Rene, thanks for stopping by. I will definitely check out your blog! 😉 Grace
lovely outfit! You always look so ladylike and nice!
Love when you have fun and put a lot of colors together, so much better than always seeing black and white.
This is fun Gracie- Almost like you are creating your own ‘color blocking’ that you see a lot this season!
Very cute. I love black-patterned tights, too.
