Wearing eyelet in the summer time makes me feel like a country gal. I want to be sipping sweet tea and enjoying a piece of key lime pie, sitting on a wooden bench under a tree watching the faint glow of the lightning bugs in the distant woods as the sun begins to set. When I hear the crickets begin to chirp their tune, I know it’s time to get ready for bed. What a perfect summer evening. Since today’s ONE HUNDRED is Eyelet, I decided to go all out and create an “eyelet suit” for work. I wore my white peplum eyelet top with matching capri eyelet shorts, added a buttercup yellow blazer for some color and instead of typical pearls, I threw on some shiny silver ones for this WORK style. Happy Friday and have a great weekend!

Also, thanks for bringing some class to the fashion blogging scene with actual jewelry. Tiffany is always amazing!
Love this! I thought silk was the only way to make a shorts suit feminine – ruffles and eyelet look darling on you.
