If you follow along on Facebook, you saw the message about me being a little under the weather last week, but this week, I’m feeling much better and looking forward to lots of posts! I hope you all had a great weekend!
To start out the week, I’m styling a PLAY style and my weekly One Hundred (usually posted on Fridays). As the holiday season is fast approaching and December came over the weekend, what a perfect time to bring out your Little Black Dress, affectionately known as the LBD. Number 54 on MY ONE HUNDRED and a definite essential in every closet, the LBD is a dress that is classic, timeless and perfect for almost any occasion. As stated in this post, I enjoy wearing my LBDs (as I have a few others I have styled here with polka dots, here with studs and here as a skirt) with blazers to work or with stilettos to a fancy restaurant on a date. LBDs are fabulous, very versatile and famous! After all, when anyone thinks of Audrey Hepburn in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, don’t we picture her in that little black dress? Coco Chanel is even credited for creating the very first LBD…and she is the icon of fashion! To read more about how to find our favorite LBD, how I have styled some of mine and where to shop for some of my favorites, click here. Happy Monday and enjoy styling your favorite LBD this holiday season!
