Spotted-Leather Gloves

Sporting leather gloves during the cold weather months is not only for necessity, but for the touch of added style!  As number 51 of MY ONE HUNDRED, leather gloves are an essential in everyone’s winter wardrobe and one special accessory that I look forward to bringing out of my closet each year.  However, while living in Malaysia my leather gloves never got to see the light of day…until I was able to visit back in the States…as last seen here.  It’s definitely that time of year again…

Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday my day consisted of a tearful goodbye, some unexpected extra space, kindness from a stranger and now a new friend, an anxious tummy, catching up on an old favorite, a rush of freezing cold air, a shot of energy, heaviness of eyelids, generosity from a few kind hearts, a confidence booster, dragging feet, tights shoulders, familiar sights and smells, a turn of luck, a rush of impatience, a dented head and finally two warm smiles, two amazing hugs and the feeling of complete calm, relief and total happiness.

And they’re off!

Last week I attended my first horse race right here in Hong Kong!  In the center of the city, nestled between the numerous skyscrapers, sits a huge race course that when open for business, lights up the surrounding sky.  But more on that later…  This is what I wore.  I definitely took advantage of the equestrian style.  Happy Monday!
