wearing a full-length coat is a bit out of the question.  Therefore, all of mine are currently packed up far, far away.  This fall/winter season, however, I’m hoping to revisit this item of MY ONE HUNDRED wardrobe essentials and provide you with some great pictures of me strolling along during the day in my favorite full-length coat.  But for now, I will share some of my favorite travel photos of places we have visited during the winter time back home in the States…times when I was bundled up and enjoying my cozy, full-length coat and number 36 of MY ONE HUNDRED.  Have a great weekend and Happy Friday!

Travel-Langkawi, Malaysia cont.

Last week (in this post), I shared some pictures from our trip to the island of Langkawi, off the coast of Malaysia.  What a great weekend get-a-way!
So after our first day on the moped to visit the Langkawi Sky Bridge, we spent the second day exploring a bit more of the island.

We stopped at Eagle Square in Dataran Lang to view one of the island’s most instantly recognizable monuments.  This massive eagle poised to take flight greets all visitors coming to the island via ferry.  What a great way to be welcomed to Langkawi AND if you’re lucky during your visit, you can spot a real eagle flying high above you in the rainforest!

Designer Spotlight-Vivienne Westwood

Vivienne Westwood has been a part of the fashion designing world since the 1970s.  However, it wasn’t until her designs were featured in the “Sex and the City” movie that her popularity skyrocketed more than ever before.  In the movie, Carrie Bradshaw becomes engaged and while modeling designer wedding gowns for a photo shoot, she falls in love with the last gown of the day…a Westwood design.  I think we all fell in love with Vivienne Westwood that day!  In today’s Designer Spotlight, unfortunately I’m not featuring a wedding gown, but I am styling a pair of killer Vivienne Westwood heels (previously styled here and here).  Whenever I wear these babies, I get compliments and smiles…most people say they remind them of a Christmas tree bulb!  Hey, why shouldn’t ever day feel like Christmas?!  When I slip on my Vivienne Westwood heels, they sure make me feel giddy…like a kid on Christmas day!
